Motion sensing cameras are changing the fight over forests
The ABC’s Stateline program recently covered the controversial issue of Victoria’s lack of pre-logging flora and fauna surveys. It featured EEG and the volunteers who have been successfully capturing the endangered Long-footed Potoroo on the various remote cameras we use. It also showed the government’s response (or lack of). The 8 minute story was on Friday 9th April. It sure didn’t make VicForests or DSE look very good.
