Federal Court upholds cattle ban in Alpine Park
The Baillieu government has had the final kybosh put on its plan to use our Alpine National Park for cheap cattle agistment by its mates.
The Federal Court on the 3rd January upheld the Federal Government’s decision that ordered cattle out of the National Park. It said Tony Burke’s decision was made according to law.
This shows why Gillard can’t hand all environmental powers to the states as planned late last year!
