Trees As Living Firebreaks – Eco-friendly Fire Retardants At Work
Case studies show how fire retardant plantings helped protect property in fires in the Bridgetown / Balingup area in the southwest of WA. Similar observations were made after the Marysville fires where some trees played an important role as a fire shield.
